The tenants committee Savelsbos welcomes you to Savelsbos. Savelsbos is an apartment building with 309 rental apartments named after the street on which it’s situated. This street is located in the Dutch city of Zoetermeer. Housing Corporation De Goede Woning (DGW) also established in Zoetermeer is the owner of this apartment building.

The tenants committee looks after the interests of the inhabitants by regular meetings with DGW and informing the inhabitants on affairs that concern Savelsbos. Furthermore they organize activities regarding liveability & safety and they gather paper for recycling. The revenue goes to charity.

Committee membership is voluntary and all its activities will be considered volunteer work. The committee is allowed a maximum size of nine members including a chairman, a secretary and a cashier in order to be recognized and accepted by DGW. Only inhabitants of Savelsbos are eligible for committee membership.

The financial affairs of the tenants committee are dependent on the annual allowance of DGW. The allowance is the committee’s main source of income, but the committee also receives small voluntary donations of the inhabitants.
